The reports are more or less down to a level where can call this outage over for all but a select few people.

While the user reports are dropping quickly, Slack is still seeing some issues, as acknowledged by the company. The latest report on the status page says “We’ve identified the cause and are seeing signs of improvement. Users may be able to connect to Slack again, but we’re still working toward a full resolution.”

Slack says there’s no timeline for things to be fully resolved, but based on user reports and our own experience, it seems like things are already mostly back to normal.

While this outage appears to have been very quick for most people (at least, based on Downdetector reports), it definitely impacted the work flow of some people. For example, one Downdetector user said, “Cant post to threads, channels are slow to load, messages are slow to send.”

Literally thousands of people have jumped to Down Detector to report problems with the popular work chat app. As of this post, the reports are up to 15,000, which is an absurd number for an outage that’s so early.
