What’s open, closed on Remembrance Day in New Brunswick

Remembrance Day, Nov. 11, falls on a Tuesday this year. Most stores will be closed. Schools and universities across the province will also be closed for the day.
Several municipalities and legion branches across the province will be hosting Remembrance Day ceremonies, which can be found on the respective websites.
Here’s a look at what’s open and what’s closed:
Retail and grocery:

Most Shoppers Drug Mart locations will be open, depending on the location.

Sobeys, Real Atlantic Superstore and Walmart stores will be closed.

Regent Mall in Fredericton, McAllister Place in Saint John and Champlain Place in Dieppe will be closed.

Government offices, public services:

Saint John city hall, Fredericton city Hall, Moncton city hall and civic administrative offices will be closed.
