Brand-new Disney Cruise Lines ship debuts in South FloridaMIAMI — The magic of Disney has come to South Florida as Disney Cruise Lines is setting sail toward the future with a brand-new ship called the Disney Destiny.
Inspired by the heroes and villains of its most beloved stories, it features iconic characters like Cinderella, Ursula, Cruella de Vil and Hercules.
Monday’s festivities featured everything you could expect from a Disney soiree, complete with food, drinks, live entertainment and a spectacular drone show.
Mickey and Minnie were also in attendance, but the real star was Disney legend Susan Egan.
She voiced Megara in Hercules and was the first to play Belle on Broadway for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
The Disney Destiny embarks on her maiden voyage Nov. 20.
