Best Romeo Doubs prop bets for Packers vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football Week 10

Keagan Smith details his top Romeo Doubs player props for Packers vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football in NFL Week 10.

Week 10’s Monday Night Football showdown between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers shapes up as one of the most exciting yet this season. In primetime, Jordan Love looks to elevate his team’s offense in its first game without Tucker Kraft active, leaving plenty of targets open for other weapons in the passing game. One who can benefit? Look no further than Romeo Doubs, one of the NFL’s most underrated wideouts.

Here are the best Romeo Doubs prop bets for Packers vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football in Week 10.

Adjusting to life without Kraft on the field surely brings some changes to the Green Bay offense. The star tight end saw a target share of 18.7% this season, so nearly one-in-five passes from Love were thrown his way. In his absence, there are nearly six targets per game now available for the taking elsewhere in this passing attack — no Packers pass catcher stands to benefit more than Doubs does.

A fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Doubs has spent the last couple of seasons working as one of the Packers’ most reliable weapons. He’s on pace for a career-best campaign with 34 catches for 441 yards and four touchdowns, and he’s emerged as the top option in the aerial attack with a team-high 52 targets. While he doesn’t rank highly among other receivers around the league due to how Love distributes the ball fairly evenly among his skill positions, he’s still 32nd in catches, 34th in receiving yards and 17th in touchdowns at the position. He’s also ranked 28th in PFF receiving grade, 20th in passer rating when targeted and 13th in aDOT. Simply put, the 25-year-old is a very good wideout who deserves more credit for his contributions.

Tonight, he’ll have to step up in Kraft’s absence in a key spot against another top NFC contender. The Eagles have talent in the secondary but rank 15th in PFF coverage grade and 17th in opponent passing yards per game, though they do fall top-seven in both opponent completion percentage and yards per pass. This projects as a close contest on DraftKings Sportsbook with the Packers favored at -1.5 but both sides neck-and-neck at -110 on the Moneyline. Game script should be neutral for Green Bay, but it’s within the realm of possibility that Philadelphia builds a bit of a lead and forces a more pass-happy game script for their opponents as well.

With Doubs’ prop bet lines set at 4.5 receptions, 52.5 yards with a longest catch of 21.5 yards and +175 odds to score an anytime touchdown, bettors can play this in a variety of ways.

Of those options, the two directions I quite like are the volume-based receptions line and the anytime TD as well. Where volume is concerned, Doubs should see plenty with a 22.1% target share and five or more catches in 4/8 games this season, including four of his last five appearances. With Kraft sidelined and rookie wideout Matthew Golden questionable as well, Love should lean on his established connection with Doubs and look his way often. With that in mind, I love taking over 4.5 catches for him at -108 odds. On a similar note, he’s scored four touchdowns this season and already sees a 25.0% target share in the red zone, the second-highest on the team behind Kraft. No other player has a red-zone target share greater than 8.0%, so the same logic applies once Green Bay gets inside the 20-yard line. At +175, an anytime touchdown feels like a quality pick tonight.

Doubs very much finds himself positioned for a breakout over the coming weeks with an even larger role in the offense. He’s talented enough to take advantage, so watch for a big game tonight in a massive primetime matchup on Monday Night Football.

Best Bet: Romeo Doubs over 4.5 receptions (-108)

Slight Lean: Romeo Doubs anytime touchdown (+175)
