Is Romeo Doubs Injured? A Look at Whether the Packers Star Is Hurt Amid Slow Start in Week 10 vs. Eagles

Getting out to a 5-2-1 start to the 2025 season, the Green Bay Packers have been tough to figure out at times. One week, they appear to be one of the best teams in the NFL; the next, they are losing by three points to the Carolina Panthers.
While no one knew what to expect from the Packers’ Week 10 Monday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, not many were expecting a scoreless first half. Let’s take a look at wide receiver Romeo Doubs’ slow start as Green Bay’s offense has struggled to get going.

What Happened to Romeo Doubs?
Doubs exited the game in the fourth quarter, heading to the locker room with a chest injury. He is officially questionable to return as the Eagles lead 10-7 with less than six minutes left on the clock.
Doubs has been one of the more reliable options for quarterback Jordan Love this season. However, he, along with most of the offensive weapons in Week 10’s Monday Night Football game, has struggled to get much of anything going against the suffocating Eagles defense.

So far, Doubs has only been targeted four times, hauling one of those targets in for five yards. It hasn’t been for a lack of chances either. Out of 28 offensive snaps in the first half, Doubs was on the field for 26.

The Packers’ WR carousel is now a complicated fight for WR2 honors, as Doubs seems to have put to bed a race for the top spot on this depth chart. Through seven games, he has hauled in 34 of 52 targets for 441 yards and four touchdowns. Three of those touchdowns came against in a tie against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.
While he leads all receivers on the team in yards and touchdowns, tight end Tucker Kraft leads the team with 489 yards and six touchdowns. According to PFSN’s WR Impact metric, he is currently the 20th-ranked receiver in the league this season.
The fourth-year receiver has seen at least eight targets in four of his past five games, and while he hasn’t scored since his Week 4 hat trick against the Dallas Cowboys, the volume is a signal that Jordan Love has one player he trusts more than the rest, outside of Kraft.
While the Packers’ defense has been able to shut down the Eagles’ offense as well, Green Bay will have to find a way to open up the offense and score some points in the second half. Every win is huge down the stretch, especially with teams like the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks looking as good as they do. The Packers will need to get the offense going if they want to prove themselves as an NFC contender.
