The clip went viral quicklu across social media platforms, and people immediately started zooming in and analysing every detail to link it to him, his house, and even old dating rumours. Some even suggested it was from the time he was supposedly involved with Winter. Since being shared on November 9, the video has amassed over 4 million views, with many anti-fan pages escalating it further.One person claimed they had an even clearer photo as “proof”, but many called it out right away, saying it looked AI-generated. With AI edits becoming more common, fans were frustrated with how easily false content spreads, especially when it involves celebrities.As the video continued to make the rounds, netizens raised concerns about Jungkook being portrayed in a misleading way based on unverified “evidence”. Many urged others to be careful about what they share online, pointing out how baseless claims can lead to unnecessary drama and damage someone’s reputation.
Fans come out in Jungkook’s defense
One user joked, “If the video is real, why is it so blurry? Upload it in HD! Or are you only good at finding these low-quality clips?” Another fan mocked the rumour, saying, “A famous male celebrity bringing someone home is the most scandalous thing you can come up with… in 2025?”
A third person added, “Not another random blurry video. What exactly are you trying to prove with footage this bad?”
Others pointed out that even if the person in the video was Jungkook, it’s his life, and he should be free to date whoever he wants without people trying to police it.

‘We urge HYBE to protect artists’
One fan page, Jungkook Charts, also shared a strong statement defending him. The account called out how his privacy has been repeatedly violated through alleged videos and photos taken without consent and criticised those trying to twist the situation to “cancel” him.
They emphasised that nothing being circulated changes how fans feel about him, stressing that Jungkook is a human being who deserves privacy and respect. The statement also pointed out how multiple accounts have been pushing a hate narrative, though these attempts are largely failing because most people recognise the issue for what it is, stalking and invasion of privacy.
The page concluded by urging HYBE to take legal action against the individuals responsible and encouraged fans to report harmful accounts through official channels.

Jungkook and aespa Winter Japan rumour dismissed as baseless
Just as the alleged “girlfriend” video was blowing up, new rumours popped up claiming Jungkook was in Japan with aespa’s Winter. The whole thing started because some fans began linking random sightings and overlapping schedules, but there’s really no solid evidence behind it.
