Eubank revealed his fears for his son on SunSport’s exclusive No Glove Lost show
Things came to a head in the build-up to April’s bout with Conor Benn, when Eubank Sr called the fight “attempted murder” due to his son having to boil his 5ft 11in frame down to 11st 6lb.
He then labelled his boy a “disgrace” after Eubank Jr infamously slapped Benn with an egg.
On an incredible night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Eubanks shocked the world by reuniting for Jr’s spine-tingling ring walk.
While Sr was also on hand to celebrate his son’s victory in the ring after the fight.

Despite the public show of father-son unity, Eubank Jr has played down how close they have become.
Speaking to the Mail, he said: “It’s not been easy. It’s not an overnight thing.
“People might think, well, he came to the fight and now they’re all lovey again. No, it’s not that.
“We are still working to try and get back to how things were many, many years ago when we didn’t have these issues.

“But I’m confident that we’ll get there eventually. He will be at my next fight though, supporting me, and that’s very important to me.”
Eubank Jr and Sr recently spent the former’s birthday together for the first time in six years.
But Jr has vowed that his father will not be involved in formulating his gameplan for Saturday night.
Eubank Sr still passionately disapproves of the bout, and the brutal weight cut that his boy will have to undergo.
Appearing on SunSport’s No Glove Lost YouTube show which airs on Tuesday, Eubank Sr said: “I look back and calculate. The damage Jr suffered will show up in three to four years.
“My question is, what’s the cost? What is the cost to the individuals doing it? That’s what we are dealing with, this is no game.
“Jr coming down to 160lb, at 36, is madness. But we have said this, to lose weight, that’s where the damage happens. When you get dehydrated.
“For three years I was saying that this fight shouldn’t be happening because the weights are wrong.
“I’m not going to go bleating on the same subject – you will see, there will be consequences. Dehydration is dangerous.”
SunSport’s expert panellists George Groves and Carl Froch pushed back on Eubank Sr’s stance, but the British boxing icon held firm.
“You were not in the ambulance with my son,” Eubank Sr replied. “He was touch and go in the ambulance.

“He was touch and go and, I’m saying to you, the public don’t see that. I’m always behind my son.
“What I’m not behind is the stupidity and the incompetence of these promoters, who are flouting the rules in terms of weights – and this is how fighters end up disabled.”
