Domino’s Debuts Its 11th Specialty Pizza With Help From ‘Parks and Rec’ Star

As the major pizza chains continue to innovate on the menu side, Domino’s remains the frontrunner with the latest addition to its lineup of specialty pies: the Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch.
It’s made with grilled chicken breast, creamy ranch, smoked bacon, jalapeños, provolone and mozzarella, then gets topped with a drizzle of buffalo sauce. And the chain has brought in actor/comedian Retta to help promote it with a new campaign called “Treat Yo Self.”
The new item joins Domino’s existing menu of 10 other specialty pizzas, including The People’s Pizza-Deluxe, Philly Cheese Steak, Wisconsin 6-Cheese, Pacific Veggie and others. Customers can try the new pizza, as well as any other medium specialty pizza, for $9.99 each when they select Domino’s Mix and Match deal.
The No. 1 pizza brand debuted its Parmesan Stuffed Crust pizza in March, creating an industry-wide stir. Unlike struggling rivals Pizza Hut and Papa Johns, Domino’s has been on a roll lately, growing its U.S. same-store sales by 5.2% and retail sales growth by 7% in the third quarter of 2025.
The specialty pies “help put the ‘mmm’ in ‘Dommmino’s,’ and our Spicy Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza is no exception,” quipped Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president–chief marketing officer. “Typically, specialty pizzas come with premium prices, but at Domino’s, we’ve proudly partnered with the ‘Treat Yo Self’ queen, Retta, to tell customers they don’t have to wait for a great deal to treat themselves to our most delicious, craveable pizzas–they’re $9.99 every day of the year!”
Domino’s and Retta are teaming up on TV ads, which will begin airing in the coming weeks. “Treat Yo Self” became a popular catchphrase from NBC’s hit sitcom Parks and Recreation, in which Retta’s character, Donna Meagle, indulged in luxurious items like clothes, massages, fine leather goods, and more for one day each year.
