The Act of Remembrance service includes a specially commissioned poem by Arboretum’s Poet in Residence Arji Manuelpillai.
The touching piece reflects on the importance of personal connections, experiences and bonds that are formed through military service.
These themes are said to be particularly close to The Princess’ heart.
The service also includes performances by Talent in the Ranks – a team of singers, songwriters and poets from the armed services.

She watched on solemnly from the balcony alongside Queen Camilla as the King and Prince William laid wreaths to honour the fallen.

On Sunday, Wills wore his RAF uniform in the rank of Wing Commander with a greatcoat and sword.
Following the service, Her Royal Highness will view the newly dedicated names on the Armed Forces Memorial before meeting veterans.
The Princess will then meet a group of secondary school students from military families, whose parents are currently on deployment.
Finally, Her Royal Highness will have the opportunity to view a special exhibition currently on display at the Arboretum.
The exhibition, Letters from the Frontline – Words, War and Victory, was produced in partnership with local BBC radio stations.
It reflects on the changing experiences and emotions of Armed Forces Personnel and their families during 1945, the final months of WWII.
On Sunday, thousands of veterans gathered in Whitehall to remember Britain’s fallen war heroes.
The King – who is Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and previously served in the Royal Navy – led the Two Minutes Silence.
Charles – wearing a field marshal uniform with a ceremonial coat – looked emotional as he saluted the memorial.
The Prince and Princess of Wales official social media account later released a touching statement following the service.
It read: “On Remembrance Sunday, we pause to reflect on the extraordinary bravery and sacrifice of all who have served – and continue to serve – in defence of our freedoms.
“We remember them, today and always. Lest We Forget.”
The wreath-laying ceremony was held after a two-minute silence was observed in the heart of Whitehall and at war memorials across the UK.
A gun was fired to mark the end of the silence before the Last Post was sounded by the Buglers of the Royal Marines.
Members of the Royal Family were applauded after the national anthem was sung at the Cenotaph.
Ripples of applause rang out in the crowd as Charles made his way inside, followed by the Prince of Wales.
The Queen and the Princess of Wales were seen speaking quietly at various points during the Remembrance Sunday service.
Roughly 10,000 armed forces veterans took part in the Royal British Legion’s marchpast.
Ex-servicemen and women gathered on Horse Guards Parade ahead of the march past the ’empty tomb’.
It is understood 20 veterans who served in the Second World War were present, more than 80 years after the end of the conflict.
On Saturday, the Princess of Wales, 43, joined her eldest Prince George and the King for the Festival of Remembrance.
Kate and George, 12, appeared with Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 78, at the Royal Albert Hall for the event honouring military service members.
She wore a dress by Alessandra Rich adorned with an HMS Glasgow Brooch and earrings belonging to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Her Poppy – crafted by Izzy Ager of Lock & Co. – was handmade using silk, glass and other natural materials
