UEFA Primetime is the latest promo to arrive in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team. If the campaign’s theme sounds familiar, it’s because Primetime is essentially a reskinned RTTK (Road to the Knockouts), which has consistently appeared in FUT for the past decade. Its absence at the start of the season had players worried that EA was planning on skipping the event, but we can rest assured that the devs have opted for a simple rebrand instead.

As mentioned at the start, the EA FC 26 UEFA Primetime promo is quite similar to RTTK. The campaign focuses on players and clubs in the UEFA Champions League, Women’s Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League competitions. A large batch of players is handed special cards, which are then eligible for live upgrades depending on how their associated clubs perform in real life.
On meeting the requirements, these cards receive upgrades to their base ratings and even additional PlayStyles. New Heroes have also been added alongside the Primetime event.
FC 26 UEFA Primetime Upgrades Explained
Primetime cards will receive upgrades if their clubs score a certain number of goals/assists, reach a specific points tally, or qualify in the Top 8 in the table of their respective European competitions. The upgrade path for Heroes is slightly different, mainly relying on the goals/wins of their respective clubs. The boosts include base OVR increases, additional Player Roles and PlayStyles, as well as PlayStyle+ bonuses.
Here’s a breakdown of the upgrade path for all UCL, UWCL, UEL, and UECL Primetime players:
- Club earns 7 or more points in the next 4 matches: +1 OVR
- The player has 1 Appearance in a win over next 4 matches: 1x Player Role+ and 1 base PlayStyle
- (Forwards/Midfielders) Get 1 Goal or Assist in the next 4 matches: 1x Player Role1++ and 1 base PlayStyle
- (Defenders) Get 1 Clean Sheet or 0 Yellow/Red cards in the next 4 matches: 1x Player Role1++ and 1 base PlayStyle
- Club finishes top 8 in the league (Top 4 for UWCL players): 1 PlayStyle+ or 2 base PlayStyles
- Club scores at least 1 goal in 3 different matches: +1 OVR
