Selling Sunset enthusiasts can satisfy their cravings with another binge-worthy programme, as fresh instalments arrive on Netflix this December.

The reality show charts the journey of influential businessman Ryan Serhant and his company SERHANT as they tackle the dramatic ups and downs of the New York City property market.

The programme in question is Owning Manhattan, with its second series launching imminently.

Speaking to Tudum about the upcoming series, Serhant revealed: “It’s an emotional and physical roller coaster. There are records broken – $50 and $60 million purchases.

“There’s commercial development in the hundreds of millions of dollars.” He also hinted that fresh talent would be joining the operation.

Serhant indicated certain estate agents were finding it difficult to maintain pace, casting doubt over their positions within the company.

He explained: “We go from basically 300 agents in season one to crossing 1,000 agents in season two.

“Like any growing company, what got us here won’t get us there. That’s true for the types of properties we sell, for the markets we go into, and for the people that get to work with me.

“What makes our firm special is if you don’t sell, you can’t be here.”

The complete eight-episode second series becomes available on Netflix on December 5.

Owning Manhatten season 2 promises plenty of drama

The closing scenes of the first series’ finale witnessed Serhant being presented with the chance to market an entire block of properties valued at over $300 million.

This thrilling opportunity instantly presents numerous complex challenges for the business. The second series also hints at “all-out real estate warfare” due to a shortage of properties for buyers everywhere.

Serhant reveals that the show will feature more office disputes, high-risk transactions and unexpected turns.

“People will be surprised to see who the villain is,” he stated. “It’s not who you think.”
