A number of regions are switching to emergency power outages instead of schedules

Emergency power outages have been introduced in a number of regions of Ukraine instead of schedules, writes UNN with reference to data from local oblenergos and energy companies.

Sumy region

“By order of NEC “Ukrenergo”, emergency shutdown schedules have been introduced in the Sumy region. Currently, EAS are in effect for 7 (seven) queues of consumers,” Sumyoblenergo reported.

Poltava region

“On November 11, 2025, from 11:50, an emergency power outage schedule (EAS) was applied in the Poltava region. The reason for the introduction of measures is the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities,” Poltavaoblenergo indicated.

Earlier, Ukrenergo reported that due to the difficult situation in the energy system caused by the consequences of Russian shelling, consumption restriction measures are being applied in most regions of Ukraine on November 11. Hourly shutdown schedules with a volume of 2 to 4 queues will be in effect until the end of the day. Also, in regions where hourly blackouts are applied, power restriction schedules for industry and business will also be in effect.

It was also reported that as a result of enemy attacks on energy facilities in several regions over the past day, there were blacked out consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions in the morning.

Due to unfavorable weather conditions (heavy rain, strong winds) – in the morning, 16 settlements in Kirovohrad region were completely or partially blacked out. All blacked out consumers are expected to be re-energized by the end of the current day.
