Power restored to all affected by major outage in Kerry earlier

Power has been restored to all in Kerry who were affected by this morning’s outage.
A significant fault in the Tralee area just before 9:30 this morning initially affected almost 20,000 ESB customers in Tralee and parts of North Kerry.
By 11am, around 10,000 had their power restored, and the rest followed by around 12 noon.
ESB Networks has identified where the fault is, that caused the unplanned outage, and is still repairing that this lunchtime.
ESB has apologised for any inconvenience caused to its customers.
