‘Roofman’ comes to digital, but when will the ‘Roofman’ movie be streaming on Paramount+?

It’s neither a bird, nor a plane, nor Superman—it’s Roofman, the new Channing Tatum crime comedy, leaping on to digital platforms to buy and rent tomorrow.

Directed by Derek Cianfrance, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kirt Gunn, Roofman tells the true story of Jeffrey Manchester, an escaped fugitive who was known for stealing from McDonalds by entering the restaurant via the roof. After he escaped prison, Manchester lived for a period of time inside the walls of a Toys “R” Us. You can’t make this stuff up, but you can exaggerate for a Hollywood movie.

Channing Tatum stars as Jeffrey Manchester, while Kirsten Dunst stars as Leigh Wainscott, a Toys “R” Us employee with whom Manchester takes a liking. Also starring LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Melonie Diaz, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang, and Peter Dinklage, Roofman failed to raise the roof at the box office, earning just over $27.6 million worldwide, despite positive reviews from critics. Perhaps the movie will find its audience now that it’s available to watch at home.

That said, before you spend $25 on the film, you should know that we expect to be able to watch Roofman streaming on Paramount+ before the end of the year.

Where to watch the Roofman movie on streaming:

Beginning on Tuesday, November 11 at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (which is also November 10 at 9 p.m. Pacific Time) Roofman will be available to buy digitally on Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Fandango At Home, and more. The price may vary depending on which platform you use to purchase the film, but on Amazon Prime the movie costs $24.99 to buy, and $19.99 to rent. If you rent the movie, you’ll have 48 hours to watch the movie after you hit “play.”

Roofman is not yet streaming on any subscription streaming services, but we do expect to see Roofman streaming on Paramount+ soon, because it is a Paramount movie.

Paramount+ offers two subscription plans. The ad-supported Essential plan costs $7.99/month, while the ad-free Premium plan (which comes with Showtime and live CBS) costs $12.99/month. New subscribers can take advantage of a seven-day free trial.

When will the 2025 Roofman movie be streaming free on Paramount Plus?

The Roofman Paramount+ streaming date has not yet been announced. Right now, the movie is only in theaters. That said, we do expect to see Roofman streaming on Paramount+ eventually, and we can make an educated as to when based on previous Paramount releases.

Another recent Paramount film, The Naked Gun was released on digital platforms one month after opening in theaters, and began streaming on Paramount+ about two months after opening in theaters. If Roofman follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie streaming on Paramount+ around the week of December 9, 2025.

But this is all speculation. If you want to watch the Roofman movie right away, you can buy or rent the film online.
