Married At First Sight UK participant Joe Woods has broken his silence following a massive revelation that he had slept with another bride away from the cameras.
This week marks the conclusion of what’s been an absolutely explosive series of Married At First Sight UK, with only a select few couples left to deliver their final vows ahead of the reunion special.
During this week’s dramatic reunion show, some jaw-dropping secrets came to light when it emerged that Julia-Ruth, who departed the programme with her matched partner Divarni, had been exchanging messages with Steven, who was paired with Nelly but exited during the final commitment ceremony.

Julia-Ruth revealed: “My time away has been fab, I’ve been having a conversation with someone, Steven. We’ve been having a texting conversation and speaking about potentially going out for drinks together.”
But in another stunning twist, it came to light that she had also jetted off on holiday with fellow groom Joe, who had previously been coupled with Geordie Maeve.
Julia-Ruth confided in the girls that things had fizzled out after Joe called things off, reports OK!.
Joe had kept remarkably quiet across his social media platforms since the programme broadcast, typically opting not to engage with fan comments or address the on-screen drama. Now, however, he’s finally opened up about his experience on the show.

Posting on Instagram, Joe penned: “MAFS sign out.
“I went into the experience with genuine intentions, but soon realised the true nature of the ‘experiment’. It’s a reality show, created to entertain the viewers and divide opinion.

“I removed myself from the ‘experiment’ and I know that I stayed true to myself. I was never disloyal. I didn’t stay for air time. I didn’t act up to the camera, which can’t be said for some people.
“Although as a single man I reserve the right to do as I please, I understand that some people may see my actions as insensitive. My intention was never to hurt anyone, and if I did trigger or upset anybody through my actions, I’m genuinely sorry.”
He added: “Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I am only human. I have made mistakes and maybe should have navigated some things differently, but ultimately I know that I didn’t act with any malice.
“The fact is, no one knows the truth of what actually happens in MAFS. I have learnt that some people will lie, deceive and tread on others to get where they want to be.. But that s**t ain’t for me.
“Over and out.”
