Elden Ring: Nightreign DLC is hot dropping with new bosses and characters right before the end of the year

The time has come for Elden Ring: Nightreign’s DLC. FromSoftware dropped a jam-packed trailer at Sony’s State of Play today that has glimpses of a new map, new characters, new bosses, and enemies returning from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

It’s called the Forsaken Hollows and the first thing we see is a few quick shots of knights and caves not in the base game. In fact, it looks like the entire Limveil map has either been transformed by the encroaching night or is a completely new map altogether.

Two new characters show up right after. One of them looks to be a woman who wields a mace and can perform an attack that sends her flying up towards enemies. The second character is a scholar who lifts enemies off the ground to effectively stun them in place.

It’s hard to tell which bosses will show up during your run and which ones will cap it off, but one things for certain: Artorias from Dark Souls will be one of the returning bosses you’ll fight at the close of a night.
