NHL Rumors: 2 Minnesota Wild Who Could Be On The Move

It has not been a fun start to the season for the Minnesota Wild. They have a 5-7-3 record right now and have won only three out of their last 10 games.

If the Wild continue to struggle and find themselves out of a playoff spot once the deadline gets closer, they could end up being sellers. If this ends up being the case, these three Wild players could end up becoming trade candidates.

Vladimir Tarasenko

If the Wild are not in the playoff race near the deadline, Vladimir Tarasenko could be a player to keep an eye on. The 33-year-old winger is a pending unrestricted free agent (UFA) and could be a popular target if the Wild sell. The 2010 first-round pick is still capable of producing solid offense, as evidenced by his two goals and nine points in 14 games so far this season.

Marcus Johansson

Johansson will be a pending UFA to watch if the Wild don’t get things back on track. The veteran forward has had a nice start to the season, posting six goals and 12 points in 14 games thus far. With this, the veteran forward certainly could generate some interest if made available near the deadline.
