Clarkson played 18 minutes before fouling out midway through the fourth quarter. A frustrated Clarkson threw his headband and snatched Hart’s stat sheet as he walked to the bench.

The Knicks won 134-98, their fourth-straight win. Hart finished the game with 11 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while Clarkson added 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting before he fouled out.

Josh Hart opens up on his new role in New York

Josh Hart has seen his role in the Knicks’ starting lineup change since Mike Brown’s arrival. He spoke about his new bench role, according to Kristain Winfield of the New York Daily News.

“I feel like I’ve got the biggest adjustment out of the whole team,” Hart said. “Just in terms of role, starting not starting, how the minutes are gonna be, and I’ve obviously talked to Mike about how the minutes are gonna go, and I’ve gotta know every position.”
“There’s gonna be times where I’m bringing the ball up, times when I’m the five and times where I’m the four, so I literally have to know every play from every different position,” he added.

Hart was a full-time starter last season. He averaged a massive 37.6 minutes per game and posted career highs with 13.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 5.9 assists. This season, he is averaging 23.8 mpg alongside 8.3 ppg, 6.9 rpg and 3.4 apg.
