Jason Statham ‘spotted filming new movie’ at former RAF base

Jason Statham is reportedly filming a new Hollywood sequel movie at a former RAF base just over the Oxfordshire border.
The Hollywood actor is best known for playing tough, gritty or violent characters with his films grossing billions worldwide.
The 58-year-old Derbyshire-born actor has starred in The Italian Job, the Fast and Furious franchise, The Mechanic and Homefront.
He has also appeared in The Beekeeper, an action thriller directed by David Ayer, alongside Emmy Raver-Lampman and Josh Hutcherson.

Mr Statham stars as a retired operative from a clandestine government agency, following his campaign of revenge after a phishing scam led to the death of his elderly landlady.
A second film of The Beekeeper, directed by Timo Tjahjanto, has already been announced with filming underway.
Mr Statham has reportedly been filming The Beekeeper 2 at RAF Greenham Common in Thatcham, West Berkshire.
According to Newbury Today, people have been hearing gunfire and seeing high-speed car chases at the disused airstrip used by the US Air Force during World War Two.
The film is set to be released at an unspecified date but worldwide by Amazon MGM Studios.
