Pertemps Final qualification races and eligible horses for Cheltenham Festival 2026

It all starts this weekend…

The Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle is one of Cheltenham Festival‘s big betting races.

A staying contest that regularly attracts a bumper field, it’s the culmination of a series of qualifiers throughout the National Hunt campaign.

A horse has to place in the top four of a qualification race to become eligible to run in this season’s Final.

Winners punch their ticket to the Cheltenham Festival as long as they’re within the weights.

Doddiethegreat beat stablemate Jeriko Du Reponet to the punch in last season’s renewal to secure a 1-2 finish for trainer Nicky Henderson.
