Insiders Tease Major Valve Announcement, Speculation Points To Half-Life 3 & New Steam Hardware

Multiple insiders are teasing a major announcement from Valve Corporation, and speculation is pointing towards Half-Life 3 and new Steam hardware.
Known insiders Moore’s Law Is Dead (MILD) and Kurakasis took to Twitter/X to hint that Valve Corporation is all set to make a major announcement soon. According to MILD, the announcement will happen at around 10:30 AM Pacific Time (PT). Furthermore, Xbox Era co-founder Shpeshal_Nick claimed that if the information he received is actually true, GTA VI may have its “thunder stolen on the hype scale.”
Fans are speculating that the insiders are hinting at two related announcements, one likely being Half-Life 3 and the other being Valve’s new Steam VR headset. If true, it’s likely that the third entry in the Half-Life series may only be playable in VR.
Back in August, content creators Gabe Follower and Tyler McVicker both reported on a new data mine of updates to Counter-Strike 2 and Deadlock that uncovered evidence regarding the previously leaked Valve project codenamed HLX, believed to be the long-rumored Half-Life 3. Counter Strike 2’s update synced the game with the latest build of the Source 2 engine for the first time in nearly a year, revealing many shared engine components and references, several of which directly link to HLX.
Meanwhile, in September, Valve Corporation trademarked “Steam Frame” as a new computer/video game hardware device.
