AJ Brown vents frustrations on livestream: ‘It’s a (expletive)-show’

Eagles’ Cooper DeJean shares thoughts on Philly sports, Vic Fangio’s praise and his Casey’s breakfast pizza obsession.

A.J. Brown’s frustrations with the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t going away. The Eagles’ star receiver might only be getting louder.

During a Nov. 11 Twitch livestream with streamer “jankyrondo,” the wideout took the opportunity to vent while playing the latest Madden NFL video game.

“Everything been good?” the streamer asked. “Mental good? Kids good? Wife good, everything?”

“I mean, no. Where have you been?” Brown said before laughing. “No! Yeah, yeah, family good, yeah. Everything else, no!

“It’s a (expletive)-show. You on some, ‘How you been?’ I’m struggling, brother.”

After a hamstring injury kept him out one game, Brown returned to action against the Green Bay Packers on “Monday Night Football” in Week 10. He got three targets, catching two of them for 13 yards.

Brown continued to let out his frustration at his usage throughout his Madden game against jankyrondo. The Eagles’ receiver told viewers to drop him if he was still on their fantasy teams at one point.

Later on, Brown, who was playing as the Eagles, caught a pass with himself and provided some not-so-subtle commentary: “Let’s show him some love. Good things happen when he gets touches.”

Two in-game plays later, Brown called a play and quipped, “Let’s show No. 11 some love. See how that goes.”

When he scored a touchdown on the play, he said, “This has been the only positive.”

Later, after the virtual game was over, Brown looked at his in-game stats: nine catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns.

“That’s the only highlight of the damn football I’ve been living right now,” he said.

The Eagles, the team Brown was playing as in the game, lost to jankyrondo’s virtual Lions, 47-41.
