Full injury report for Wednesday’s Lakers vs. Thunder matchup

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads. It’s the second game of a home back-to-back for OKC.

The Thunder (11-1) had an easy 126-102 win over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday. Once again, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander sat out the fourth quarter. He had 28 points and 11 assists. Chet Holmgren helped out with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Lakers (8-3) survived in a 121-111 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday. Luka Doncic had 38 points and Austin Reaves had 24 points. Those two have led Los Angeles as LeBron James awaits to make his season debut.

Because they’re on a back-to-back, the Thunder haven’t submitted their injury report yet. That said, we know a few absences already. Kenrich Williams (knee surgery) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.

Jalen Williams (wrist surgery), Lu Dort (upper trap strain) and Aaron Wiggins (adductor strain) have all missed recent time. Those will be the names to look for when OKC’s report is known.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are relatively healthy. LeBron James (sciatica) is out. Gabe Vincent (ankle sprain) is out. Adou Thiero (knee surgery recovery) is out.

Tipoff from Oklahoma City is set for 8:30 p.m. CT.
