AMES — The Iowa State women’s basketball team rolled through the first week of the season, beating up on St. Thomas, Southern and Sacred Heart.
The second week of the season begins with another non-conference foe that isn’t expected to give the Cyclones too much trouble, either.
Iowa State (3-0) will take on Valparaiso (0-2) on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Hilton Coliseum at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Valparaiso is coming off losses to DePaul and Detroit Mercy to kick off the season. Meanwhile, Iowa State has yet to be challenged at the start of the highly anticipated season.
The Cyclones have picked up three easy wins to begin the season and are fresh off a 99-34 win over Sacred Heart on Nov. 9. Audi Crooks scored 21 points for Iowa State in that win.
