RENO, Nev. – Nevada ends its three-game homestand Wednesday night, hosting Southern Illinois at 7 p.m.

The game will air locally on Nevada Sports Net and will be streamed on the Mountain West Network and the MW App. The radio broadcast is available on the Wolf Pack Radio Network (95.5 FM in Reno) and the Varsity Network App (www.thevarsitynetwork.com) with John Ramey and Nick Fazekas on the call.

UP NEXT
Nevada makes its first road trip of non-conference play, heading to Santa Clara for a Nov. 15 matchup at 4 pm. From there, the Pack returns home for a two-game homestand, hosting UC Davis on November 18 and UCSB on November 22.

ABOUT SOUTHERN ILLINOIS
Southern Illinois (2-0) is coming off a 101-78 victory over UMKC on Friday, Nov. 7. Karmello Branch led the Salukis with 18 points and two assists, and joined in double-digit scoring by Jayson Petty (14 points), U’riyah Evans (12 points), and Chris Dockery (11 points, 10 rebounds).
The Salukis opened the season with an 83-42 victory against McKendree. Led by Scott Nagy, the Salukis finished the 2024-25 season with a 14-19 record overall and 8-12 in The Missouri Valley Conference play.

NEVADA SECURES WIN AGAINST PACIFIC
Nevada improved to 2-0 in the 2025-26 season after surviving Pacific’s final shot at the buzzer.
As a team, the Pack shot 43.1 percent from the field and 26.7 percent from behind the arc, with 18 offensive rebounds. On defense, the Pack held the Tigers, recording 31 defensive rebounds and forcing eight turnovers, which resulted in an 8-point game advantage.
Tayshawn Comer led the Pack offense with 19 points, two assists, and five rebounds, followed by Tyler Rolison with 14 points and five rebounds.
Elijah Price (10 points and 10 rebounds) and Joel Armotrading (11 points and 15 rebounds) made their impact for the Pack, both posting double-doubles. Price and Armotrading also led the defense with two blocked shots.

ELIJAH PRICE NAMED PRESEASON ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST
Forward Elijah Price, who spent his redshirt freshman season (2024-25) at Fresno State before transferring to Nevada, was voted to the 2025-26 Preseason All-Mountain West Team. The team was announced during Mountain West Basketball Media Day in Las Vegas on October 23.
Price, who started his college career at Drake (2023-24), arrived in Reno after an impressive redshirt freshman season at Fresno State Bulldogs in 2024-25, where he started all 32 games and averaged 10.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.  He also posted 11 double-doubles—an achievement that set a program freshman record—while ranking among the top first-year students nationally in offensive rebounds per game.
