With about two minutes left in the New York Knicks’ loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, Knicks star Jalen Brunson rolled his right ankle on the foot of Wendell Carter Jr. and went to the locker room after shooting two free throws.
Brunson was seen leaving the arena in a walking boot and with crutches.
After the game, Knicks coach Mike Brown said he didn’t have any further information than that Brunson rolled his ankle. He’ll likely undergo further testing in the next day or two.
Brunson, the leading scorer for New York (7-4), injured his right ankle last season in March and was forced to miss close to a month.
