Before her performance tonight, drag icon La Voix could be seen backstage as she pretended to direct the iconic dancing competition from the control room and gallery.

La Voix looked amazing as she gave directions and got into character seamlessly.
Fans instantly thought that this was a way of the show’s bosses hinting at who might take over from Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman when they depart the show at the end of the year.
Reacting to La Voix’s skit on social media, one person said on X: “I am OBSESSED with La Voix taking over the entire show omfg these skits are the highlight of every week.”
Another person penned: “Can the BBC push La Voix forward any more without making it too obvious… ?”

“Leaning into la voix coming for their jobs is the best decision the production team have made this series,” wrote a third.
While a fourth said: “La Voix for Strictly presenter.”
A fifth then added: “Can we give La Voix some kind of part in next year’s show because she’s been ICONIC.”
And a sixth said: “I NEED La Voix to present Strictly next year. Like I need it in my bones. PLEASE!!!”
Last week, La Voix seemingly “auditioned” to host Strictly live on air.
Speaking to the camera before her performance, La Voix said: “So far this series, our next star has been a boxer, a bird lady and Cher.
“Quite the variety! Tonight, she’s taking on the Queen of Hearts for an Alice in Wonderland-inspired paso doble. It’s La Voix and Aljaž.”
Afterwards, La Voix then turned to ask Tess, who was standing nearby, how she’d done.
Tess answered by simply saying: “Nailed it!”
Towards the end of October, Tess and Claudia shockingly revealed that they would be waving goodbye to the show after teaming up together 11 years ago.
Tess quit after 21 years, and Claudia after 11.
They teamed up in 2014 and took over from departing host Bruce Forsyth.
Immediately after their statements were shared, fans began speculating who might replace them.
Bookmakers also instantly shared the odds on who is likely to replace the iconic duo.
Among the celebrities named by bookies was Rylan Clark, who also hinted he might be in the running to take over from the two hosts.
Rylan, who hosts It Takes Two, commented on Claudia’s Instagram post revealing her exit at the time.

He commented, saying: “Shoes as big as the fringe to fill. Love you.”
His comment seemingly implied that he was in the mix to possibly host the show in the future.
