Osbournes Fire Back at Roger Waters: “A Sad, Irrelevant, Old, Miserable, Ugly Human Being”
In their first episode of The Osbournes Podcast since the passing of Ozzy Osbourne in July, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne didn’t hold back in their utter contempt for Roger Waters.
While other rock icons paid tribute to Ozzy in the days and weeks following his death, Waters went out of his way to make disparaging remarks about the metal legend, telling the YouTube channel “The Independent Ink” in August, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life. We’ll never know. Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck.”
He added, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”
That led Jack to respond at the time, “Hey Roger Waters, fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a cunt. Thanks for proving him right.”

In their podcast return, all three Osbournes expressed total disgust for the former Pink Floyd member. Sharon first brought him up, when she referred to “probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years, ” with Jack responding, “Oh, you talking about my mate Roger?,” and Kelly adding, “He’s a fucking cunt.”
Sharon continued, “He isn’t, ’cause cunts are good. … He has no charisma. He looks like Frankenstein,” as Kelly added, “And he thinks he so superior to everybody. And his superiority complex is just so repulsive.”
“The guy is sick in the head,” Sharon went on to say. “He is not relevant in today’s world. Nobody likes him. It’s not just us. Nobody likes this man. … unless you’re a fascist,” with Kelly pondering, “I don’t even think the fascists like him.”
“I hope he shits himself in public,” Kelly later said, with Sharon noting, “That’s too good. Shit makes flowers grow.”
Sharon then wondered how his former Pink Floyd bandmates ever got along with him. “I don’t know how those guys in Pink Floyd put up with them as long as they did. … David [Gilmour] is the most gracious, warm person you could ever meet.”
She then summed up Waters as “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being — a miserable ugly human being.”
Referencing Waters’ anti-Israel stance, Sharon felt that his dismissive words about Ozzy were an antisemitic act against her. “Do you know why he did it?,” she asked. “He did it because he knows I’m half-Jewish.” However, her kids didn’t seem to think that was the reason, with Kelly simply reasoning that Waters is just a “piece of fuckin’ shit.”
Elsewhere in the podcast, the Osbournes played a voicemail they received from Donald Trump following Ozzy’s passing, and mentioned that they also received a “lovely letter” from King Charles. The full podcast can be streamed below.
