Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Doc Trailer: Travis Kelce, Sabrina Carpenter

Taylor Swift says goodbye to the Eras Tour in the official trailer for her six-episode Disney+ docuseries “The End of an Era.”
“I’m very aware of mysterious forces at play that I will never have any control of,” Swift says in an ominous start to the trailer, as footage of her being brought to stage in a cleaning cart plays. “This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that.”
The docuseries, the first two episodes of which will premiere Dec. 12, chronicles the “development, impact and inner-workings” of Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, according to a press release. Along with behind-the-scenes clips of how the show came together and an exclusive interview with Swift, the trailer reveals that the series documents the beginnings of Swift’s relationship with her now fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
“Travis Kelce, he brings a lot of happiness,” Swift’s mom Andrea says in the trailer, as Swift adds: “We basically have the same job.” In another scene featured in the trailer, Swift and Kelce share a sweet kiss as Swift comes off stage.
Eras Tour guests Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, Gracie Abrams and Florence Welch also make an appearance in the trailer during their respective surprise performances. Backstage footage is shown of Carpenter and Swift planning their bit ahead of the New Orleans show, when Swift called Carpenter on the phone before bringing her out on stage.
“The End of an Era” also promises to take fans inside Swift’s planning process for each concert’s surprise song section. At the end of the trailer, Swift explains to her mom: “So it goes ‘New Year’s Day’ verse and chorus, ‘Manuscript’ bridge into ‘Long Live’ bridge, into the down verse of ‘Long Live,’ into ‘hold onto the memories they will hold onto you,’ into ‘Long Live’ chorus but slow it down to half-time, ‘New Year’s Day’ chords underneath it, into the last verse of ‘The Manuscript.’”
“That’s complicated!” Andrea exclaims.
