Chaz Bowker on his overnight stardom, the career path he left behind and his next content move

At the time that dropped, Bowker had just over 80,000 followers on Instagram. One week later and he now has over 107,000. The internet is one helluva drug, folks.
This week, we caught up with Bowker on The Loop podcast, and he gave us a little peek into what these last few weeks have been like for him.
“It’s been truly awesome to spread the word for adaptive golf,” said Bowker, who, at 4′ 4”, competed in the Short Stature Division in the last three U.S. Adaptive Opens. “And also, for people to be able to see that if you have a swing, swing it. Don’t be anybody else. This week I definitely proved it out there. No matter if you have a disability or something, if you put your mind to it you can make it possible.”
Bowker began diving into the content game during COVID, and just five years later found himself in what has become one of the most-watched golf events of the year. The overnight stardom has led to some fun upcoming content ideas he told us about during our full interview, which can be heard below. Bowker also discussed what it was like to sink a pair of $12,000 putts, the career path he left behind and what it’s like to shock people every time he sends one off the first tee.
