Joonas Korpisalo in Bruins’ net as they take on Senators

The Bruins return to the scene of the crime that helped them wake up and rip off seven straight wins when they face the Senators in Ottawa on Thursday night. The last time the B’s were there on October 27, they were non-competitive, losing 7-2 in a game that wasn’t even that close.
It was, by far, the B’s worst loss of the season. And they haven’t lost since then.
“Those stretches, those games they kind of help you. They’re not pretty but they help us to get out of it a little bit. It showed us that we can’t play that way. It was the start of something good, but we definitely don’t want a repeat of that,”coach Marco Sturm told reporters in Ottawa.
“It started when they came to our building (when the B’s beat them in overtime at the Garden on November 6). Right away, we wanted to show them that this is not the team that we are, coming here and losing 7-2. I think we did a good job in our building. Now we have to do the same thing tonight.”
The B’s will run out the same lineup as they did on Monday when they beat Toronto Maple Leafs, 5-3, with the exception of a goaltending change. Jeremy Swayman, who is coming off back-to-back wins over the Leafs but was in net for Oct. 27 shellacking, will sit while former Senator Joonas Korpisalo, who beat Ottawa in Boston, will be in the net.
The Sens will be without defenseman Thomas Chabot (upper body) while Leevi Merilainen will be in the crease for Ottawa.
