HYDERABAD: Amid tight security, the counting of votes for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election began on Friday, with officials opening postal ballots first. The high-stakes bypoll holds significance for both the ruling Congress government and the BRS. Polling was held on Tuesday, and the results are likely to be declared by Friday afternoon.Returning Officer Karnan said the process will open with the scrutiny of postal ballots, followed by counting of EVM votes.
