Kolmar Korea announced on Nov. 14 that it has been selected as one of the “World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2026” by U.S. weekly magazine TIME for two consecutive years.
Kolmar Korea ranked 294th among the top 500 global sustainable growth companies announced by TIME and global market research firm Statista on Nov. 13. While only 10 Korean companies were selected, down 13 from last year, Kolmar Korea is the only cosmetics company to rank for two consecutive years. The final ranking is determined by equally weighing scores for corporate revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact indicators. Approximately 4,000 companies were included as evaluation targets in this survey.
Kolmar Korea recorded 81.02 points out of a perfect score of 100, ranking 294th globally (top 7% worldwide) and 5th among domestic companies. The company particularly achieved outstanding results in environmental indicators, ranking 2nd among Korean companies in carbon intensity and emissions, and placing in the top 30% globally in waste management and water resource management. Kolmar Korea developed industry-first eco-friendly innovative containers that significantly reduce plastic usage, including paper tubes, paper sticks, and one-hand pump paper packs.
Yoon Sang-hyun, Vice Chairman of Kolmar Korea Group, said, “Being recognized as a sustainable growth company in the global market for two consecutive years is the result of our comprehensive sustainable management efforts. We will continue to fulfill our responsibilities as a global company representing Korea through eco-friendly management and technological innovation.”
