It may seem almost cliché to say at this point, but the holidays are truly one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World. Over the 30+ years I’ve been visiting the resort, I’ve come to love seeing the parks decorated for the season, the treats, the snow on Main Street, U.S.A. in Florida, and the resort’s many other Holiday traditions.
We love it!
Speaking of traditions, one of Disney World’s oldest is returning for the 2025 season. The Candlelight Processional, which can trace its roots back to the first Christmases at Disneyland back in the late 1950s, has been a staple of the Florida resort’s calendar since the resort’s 1971 opening. It was initially staged at the Magic Kingdom before moving to EPCOT in 1994. Each night of the event, which features a choir and a reading of the Biblical Christmas story, is headlined by a celebrity narrator, and 2025 is once again packed with star power.
The 2025 Candlelight Processional begins along with the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays on November 28th with celebrity narrator (and Golden Globe Nominee) Constance Wu. She’ll handle the duties on November 29th as well, before handing over to Actor and Singer Jordan Fisher, who’ll read from November 30th through December 2nd.

These stars join a long list of luminaries who’ve participated in the event on both coasts over the years, including Cary Grant, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Gregory Peck, Charlton Heston, James Earl Jones, Neil Patrick Harris, Jodi Benson, Dick Van Dyke, John Stamos, and Chris Hemsworth.

The Candlelight Processional is presented three times each evening at 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:15 PM at the America Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion.
