The Vintage Factory in Waterford City is set to close down.
They made the announcement in a post online today.
The owners says ‘it has been the absolute toughest decision they’ve ever had to make, but as a small business they simply can’t afford to survive.’
They added that ‘there is no support for small businesses and rising costs have crippled them.’
The shop is set to close its doors on December 20th.
They will continue to receive weekly deliveries until December, and are encouraging anyone with gift vouchers to come in and use them.
They described today as a sad day, adding: ‘We love you all, and let’s make our last Christmas here the best one.’
