In lighter news surrounding the Vancouver Canucks, they now have a new offering at the snack stands in Rogers Arena, Elias Pettersson’s wife Katelyn Pettersson has launched a new candy company called “Swete” and it has done very well so far.
“One player that the Vancouver Canucks are going to need more out of is Swedish forward Elias Pettersson, who is drawing a ton of criticism of late, especially for his lack of shooting, something he said he needs to improve on as the season rolls along.”-Jaxon

Rob Williams of Daily Hive reported on the new business venture surrounding the Pettersson family, it is something Katelyn wanted to start for a while, as she believed the candy offering in Europe was superior to North America.
“Katelyn, who is American, said the inspiration behind the Swedish candy company came after tasting superior sweets overseas while on modelling trips.”-Williams
«Fast forward, I married a Swedish man. And every time I go back to [Sweden], we’d have lördagsgodis, which means Saturday candy day. It’s a tradition in Sweden.»-Pettersson
The couple were married in June of this year and Elias has been helping with taste testing all summer. Katelyn described how she first discovered european candy when she was modelling and traveling all over the continent, coincidentally she married a Swedish man. It is a positive distraction for what otherwise has been a hard year so far for Elias. Maybe some of this good morale can inspire Pettersson’s performance on the ice.
