ALBANY, N.Y – A wrestling legend could be set for a shocking return as WWE Smackdown broadcasts live today – Friday, Nov. 14 – from MVP Arena in Albany, New York. This episode is available to watch on multiple streaming services for free.

Who is LA Knight’s mystery opponent?

Rumors are swirling about the possible return of WWE legends Edge or Chris Jericho, while others are convinced this is Joe Hendry’s moment to finally reach the main roster. Names like Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Matt Cardona and WWE legend Kurt Angle have also been tossed around for the mystery spot in The Last Time is Now Tournament.

Is Chris Jericho returning to Smackdown tonight?

Jericho, a WWE icon through the 2000s who left for AEW in 2019, is one of the legendary names rumored to be the mystery opponent for LA Knight’s match tonight. If his music hits, it will be one of the greatest returns in WWE history. His last appearance in WWE was in April 2018 at the Greatest Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.

Is Edge returning to Smackdown tonight?

Like Jericho, the Rated R Superstar Edge left WWE for AEW in August 2023, but has been off their television for multiple months, fueling speculation of a return to his roots. Edge and Cena, who the Last Time is Now Tournament is honoring, have a storied history.

Is Joe Hendry on Smackdown tonight?

He’s not a WWE legend, but NXT/TNA phenom Joe Hendry is your betting favorite to fill the mystery role. The fan favorite competed in the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania this year. He has never appeared on Smackdown.
