LEAN CLIPPERS (-160).
Everything is pointing to Davis and Lively being out for this matchup, as the Mavs are likely just trying to lose games to improve their lottery odds. On the other side, the Clippers should be motivated to win, so expect LA to come out with a different level of intensity and pick up a much-needed victory over a struggling Dallas team.
PASS.
Dallas is 5-7 ATS this season, while the Clippers are just 1-10 ATS, so I lean toward the Mavs to cover here as +3.5 (-115) underdogs. However, these teams are so bad that I don’t feel confident in LA to win by 3, nor do I feel confident in Dallas to keep it within 3. Pass, and bet the moneyline and/or Over/Under instead.

Dallas ranks in the top 4 in defensive rating in the NBA, while both LA and Dallas are terrible offensively, sitting at 21st and 29th in the league, respectively. While LA is poor defensively, Dallas’s offense is so bad that the Clippers should be able to mask that deficiency a bit here.
