Zimbabwean actress Danai Gurira is set to light up the movie scene after she was cast to appear in Here Comes The Flood.
Described as a heist thriller about a bank guard, a teller, and a master thief, the flick has started filming.
Gurira stars alongside the legendary Denzel Washington.
Also included are Robert Pattinson, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sean Harris and Moises Arias.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Fernando Meirelles directs the Netflix pic.
Gurira was recently in Zimbabwe for the Africa Voices Now! Festival, an event.she launched this year through her Almasi Collaborative Arts organisation.
