If you’re hoping to snag a last-minute spot to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade without braving the crowds, it’s time to act fast and spend some serious cash. The longest stretch of the route runs 25 blocks along Sixth Avenue, making it the prime location for hotel views. New York City hotels with parade-view rooms and brunch packages are filling up quickly, and the remaining spots come with a price tag that matches the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

BucketListEvents (mybucketlistevents.com, 512-261-5140) still has a few spots left for its two-night “Quick Trip” package at either the W Hotel Times Square for $1,695 per person or the Lotte Palace for $1,895 per person. Packages include two nights at the hotel, a parade-viewing brunch and orchestra seating for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Next year’s 100th-anniversary parade will be the ultimate celebration.
