Fox Sports reported Wednesday that IU’s comeback victory over Penn State on Saturday drew more than 6 million viewers, the most-watched noon game that day. That audience is also 7% greater than the average of Fox’s noon games in 2024.
The Hoosiers recovered from a late deficit to beat the Nittany Lions on Omar Cooper Jr.’s highlight-reel catch from Fernando Mendoza with 36 seconds remaining.
The victory allowed IU (10-0) to remain No. 2 in the College Football Playoff rankings, behind Ohio State (9-0). Those teams remain on track to meet in the Big Ten championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Dec. 6.
