At 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, the South Alabama Jaguars (2-7) take on the UL Monroe Warhawks (3-6).
The Jaguars faced the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in their last outing, losing 31-22. The Warhawks are coming off of a 31-6 loss to the Old Dominion Monarchs. In that matchup with the Ragin’ Cajuns, Bishop Davenport had 203 yards on 20-of-33 passing (60.6%) for the Jags, with one touchdown and one interception. He also carried the ball seven times for 42 yards and one rushing touchdown. Keenan Phillips carried the ball 13 times for 75 yards (5.8 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. He also had one reception for six yards. Jeremy Scott led the receiving charge against the Ragin’ Cajuns, catching six passes for 102 yards and one touchdown. Aidan Armenta’s performance for the Warhawks against the Monarchs included 12-of-20 passing for 150 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Zachary Palmer-Smith put together an 18-carry, 96-yard game (5.3 yards per attempt), while tacking on one reception for zero yards . JP Coulter caught three passes for 54 yards (18.0 yards per catch).
