Prediction, pick for Baisangur Susurkaev vs. Eric McConico at UFC 322

Ryan Wohl gives his best bet for Baisangur Susurkaev vs. Eric McConico on the UFC 322 Early Prelims.

One of the best recent signees by the UFC is Baisangur Susurkaev, who is facing Eric McConico on the UFC 322 Early Prelims. Susurkaev defeated Eric Nolan by second-round submission at UFC 319 in August after earning a UFC contract on Dana White’s Contender Series four days earlier. McConico has a 10-3-1 record and recently beat Cody Brundage by split decision in August.

Check out my prediction for Baisangur Susurkaev vs. Eric McConico at UFC 322 on the Early Prelims.

Susurkaev is only 24 years old and has a record of 10-0 with nine finishes. He trains at Kill Cliff FC in Florida but has also spent time training with UFC Middleweight Champion Khamzat Chimaev. Although he earned his UFC contract with a first-round knockout, he showed at UFC 319 that he is a more versatile fighter than he has shown in the past, with finishing ability on the ground as well.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Susurkaev is the largest favorite on the UFC 322 card at -1050, with his opponent McConico being +675. Susurkaev has a two-inch height advantage (6’2″ vs. 6’0″) and a longer reach (79″ vs. 77″), which should be beneficial for him in this contest.

After his last fight, Susurkaev seemed disappointed in his performance, so we should see a much more precise version of himself at UFC 322. With Susurkaev being -500 to win by finish, getting him to win in the first round at -160 is a better play. He has won seven of his 10 fights in the first round, and I expect another quick finish in this contest.
