If the Wyoming Cowboys hope to have any chance at postseason play this year, tonight’s game at Fresno State is very important. Needing six wins to qualify for bowl consideration, the 4-5 (2-3 in conference) Pokes must win at least two of their last three games. Their final two games will be home versus Nevada next Saturday and then at Hawaii on November 29..

Coming off a bye week, Wyoming will visit a Fresno State team that didn’t play last week either. The week prior, the Bulldogs, 6-3 (3-2 in the MW), pulled off a 30-7 upset win at Boise State. The win snapped the Broncos’ 16-game home winning streak.

The series history has Fresno State holding a 9-6 advantage, with UW’s last win at Fresno State coming in 2014.

Tonight’s game can be heard on WyoRadio’s 99.7 JACK-FM and 99KSIT.com beginning at 7 p.m. with the kickoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

Cowboys Basketball to Host Portland Tonight

The 3-0 Wyoming Cowboy basketball team will wrap up its four-game home stand tonight by hosting Portland. The Pilots are also undefeated at 3-0.

Wyoming won its last contest, 79-65, over Austin Peay on Tuesday, while Portland’s last win was a 67-63 home victory over UC-Davis. This will be the Pilots’ first road game of the season.

Following tonight’s contest, Wyoming will travel to Huntsville, Texas to play at Sam Houston.
