You can’t take Dillon Danis anywhere, it seems.
The self-described bad boy of MMA has been at the center of many brawls, most famously at UFC 229 where Khabib Nurmagomedov did a flying eagle jump out of the cage following his win over Conor McGregor, landing directly on top of Danis.
Now Danis and the Dagestanis are at it again at UFC 322. Just before Benoit Saint Denis and Beneil Dariush walked out to the cage to kick off the pay-per-view, a big brawl erupted on the floor of Madison Square Garden. At the center of it: Dillon Danis and Magomed Zaynukov, better known to fans as “John Pork.”
It’s unclear at this moment what set off the brawl but there’s plenty of footage of the incident in full swing. You can see a number of people from Islam Makhachev’s team swarming Danis, with Zaynukov getting a few big punches in. Security is there trying to pull everyone apart as The Who’s Baba O’Riley hits its peak, creating a truly surreal scene.

This isn’t going to help Danis convince the UFC that he’s worth signing. The BJJ ace has said the promotion has refused to put him on the roster because he seems to cause trouble wherever he goes. Whoever’s at fault this time, you can’t say that isn’t the cage.
