A major British food retailer is headed Down Under, sparking widespread excitement from expats who have been begging for the brand overseas.

“We’re coming Australia 19/11/2025. M&S Food,” the words at the end of the video read, leaving food lovers beside themselves.
The caption of the video gave more details, telling fans: “The rumours are true… We’re bringing the magic of M&S Food Down Under.

Fans were in a complete frenzy over the announcement, with one writing: “Oh. My. God.”

“Omg finally! I have been waiting for the day M&S food is in Australia. I miss it so much!” another commented.
“I have been rationing Percy Pigs since my return in July. Excellent news,” a third wrote, while a fourth said: “Yasssss you’ve made the year of every British expat with this news.”
It isn’t known if this means Marks & Spencer Food is opening a store in Australia, or if it means they’ll be launching a website so Aussies can buy them online.
However, a subsequent post on food blogger Nectorious Papi’s Instagram account may have solved the mystery.
