Who Was The First Housemate Eliminated From ‘Big Brother’ 2025?

The popularity of the Big Brother 2025 season has come as a shock to us all. For the past few years, while the American and British versions of the show have continued with the classic format, the Australian iteration of Big Brother has operated as more of a dystopian game show than a social experiment.
So, when Channel 10 announced that the reality show was going back to its roots, with live nominations and eliminations (and of course, public voting), plus a 24-hour live stream, we were quite suddenly optimistic. Add that a seasoned host in Mel Tracina signed onto the project and that the show returned to its original home at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast, and it was enough to have us tuning in.
In the days of the show, we were reminded why the show was so addictive in the ’00s. Open conversations between people from all backgrounds and with a variety of political backgrounds, Big Brother 2025 has got its mojo back.
But along with the exciting new season, of course, came the nominations and inevitable social tensions. In the first week, Jane found herself up for nomination after failing to hide from her housemates after entering as the 13th housemate. During the live nominations, Jane was joined by controversial housemate Michael and Holly, who has become somewhat of a polarising character in the house.
As the eviction neared, we saw the housemates all deal with the stress some out in different ways. After a heated discussion with the rest of the house about their smooching activities, Holly said she may exit the house, in an attempt to leave on a high rather than getting evicted on the weekend.
Though, when Sunday’s episode rolled around, this proved to be untrue, and she did see the process through to the elimination. We also saw Michael upset a few characters, with what he would call pot stirring, though we’d use another word. As for Jane, she seemed to recover from leading the heated conversation that was pointed at Holly, and appeared to bond with her fellow housemates. On the day of the eviction, the three nominated housemates were instructed to dress as clowns and attend a ‘Dinner of the Damned’ to reflect on all the ways they may have gone wrong, earning their nomination. It was as odd as you’re picturing.
Ahead, find a rolling list of exactly who has been eliminated from Big Brother 2025, and check back in each week as we update it. It’s time to go…
Michael
Michael was the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house on November 16. This followed the first week of competition, that saw Michael ruffle feathers with his “honesty”. Michael quickly became known for his no-filter approach to speaking to housemates and often stole extra bigs of food from the kitchen and worked his fellow housemates up.
“I’m an emotionless man,” Michael joked after his eliminations. “I went in to ruffle feathers and here I am.”
