We can reveal she is dating female footballer Maz Pacheco, a defender for Women’s Super League club Everton and a former England youth international.

The new romance is understood to have blossomed in the months following the filming of Married At First Sight and the bitter on-screen split between the warring wives.

A source tells us: “Leah and Maz have known each other for 13 years.

“Nothing happened between them until things ended with Leigh.

GETTING HITCHED

MAFS UK couple reveal wedding plans after getting engaged in real life

“Leah did bump into Maz, while she was with Leigh, in a public space, but nothing romantic took place until after the marriage ended.

“MAFS finished filming six months ago and after it wrapped, Leah wanted to have some fun and some drama-free romance – Maz proved to be everything she was looking for.

“Things are going swimmingly for them.”

Leah will be hoping this romance is the real deal after her split from Leigh.

Their marriage was troubled from the off with the pair rarely seeing eye-to-eye.

They opted to walk away from one another after a chaotic final vow renewal saw them offer up a slew of snubs to one another as a parting gift.

Leah’s vows hit a nerve with Leigh, who confronted her wife about feeling “managed”.

A furious Leigh hit back: “For you to say that you felt managed throughout the whole…,” but Leah interjected: “I didn’t say throughout the whole, you add things in all the time.”

Leah continued: “Managed not met, sometimes I want to chat to you about certain things, I don’t feel like you’re meeting my energy.”

Leigh responded: “Don’t you feel that’s a bit insensitive, I just want to know the ins and outs of what happened, that’s an insecurity in me.”

Leah said: “You were on at me all the time. In a relationship, I need someone who is excited to see me and then asks the question.”

But Leigh said she needed more reassurance and wanted support – saying: “I need to feel like me asking questions is not doing something wrong.”

Leah, however, continued to say that her “energy wasn’t met” and her wife was too much of a closed book.

Feeling hurt, Leigh insisted: “I have tried, you’re throwing it in my face and acting like I’ve not f****** tried.”
