The Munster senior hurling championship between Eire Og Inis and Loughmore-Castleiney has been moved from Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg to Sixmilebridge due to a burst water pipe.
The clash has also been pushed back to a 2.30 throw in to give fans time to make alternative travcel arrangements.
“Due to a burst water mains in the town of Ennis, there is no water in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg and today’s AIB Munster Club SHC S-Final game between Eire Og Inis (Clare) and Loughmore-Castleiney (Tipperary) cannot go ahead there as planned at 1:15pm,” read a statement.
“As a result, the game has been refixed for Sixmilebridge this afternoon at 2:30pm. All tickets for the original fixture in Ennis will be valid in Sixmilebridge.”
