Jeremy Cluff writes: “This game is in Atlanta, where the Falcons are 2-2 on the season, a much better mark than their 1-4 record as the away team. The Falcons will end their 4-game losing streak with a win over the struggling Panthers’ offense.”

The Falcons continue to master the agony of defeat in losing 4 straight. They pushed the Patriots to the brink before losing 24-23 on a missed extra point in Week 9. Sunday, Indy caught Atlanta at the gun with a last-second field goal in Berlin and then won it on OT. The Falcons offer a tough defensive front and could well replicate the Saints, who held Bryce Young to 124 yards passing, and forced him into two turnovers. Meanwhile, Drake London continues to eat on both sides of the Atlantic.”

Atlanta will also have to sell out to defend the run, given it is allowing the fourth-most rushing yards per game (124.4) this season. Even if Dowdle is successful, Atlanta can attack a Panthers defense that has allowed the fourth-most receiving yards (704) to tight ends this season. We’ll also note Bijan Robinson could take advantage of Carolina, given it has allowed 157 rushing yards per game with a 4.9 yards-per-carry average in the last three weeks. The Falcons’ skill-player talent wins out in this game.”
